The Oswego County Office for the Aging announces that farmers’ market coupon booklets will be available beginning July 17. The booklets are valued at $20 and can be used at participating farmers’ markets.

At a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary meeting, Connor Goss was presented with a scholarship to help further his education. He will be attending Monroe Community College to study Criminal Justice.

The Oswego Children’s Theater’s latest production “Shrek the Musical” will feature a much larger than usual sized character in the person of a life sized dragon. The vocal role of the dragon will be played by veteran actress Caroline Gray. The body of the beast however, will be portrayed by a full sized dragon puppet manipulated by other individuals.

The Salmon River International Sport Fishing Museum, 3044 State Route 13, Pulaski, will host a “Celebrate Fishing Show and Sale’ from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 12.

Associate and baccalaureate degrees were awarded in fields of agriculture, health, business, vocational, and engineering technology, as well as the arts and sciences.

Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and cherries are all available locally and many farms have U-Pick options, where you can get out in the field or orchard and pick your own!
