Alyssa Stout, from Pulaski, was named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester at Buena Vista University. Students named to the Dean’s List must have a minimum grade point average of 3.5 for the semester based on a 4.0 grade point system and must have taken at least 12 hours of coursework.
Homelessness. It’s an issue that many know exists, but few feel comfortable discussing. On March 13, the issue of homelessness in Oswego County will be front and center as COACH, Oswego County’s continuum of Care committee hosts a community forum on the topic.
The Oswego County Legislature’s Human Services Committee presented Patricia Pennock with a certificate of appreciation for her 25 years of service. Pennock is a senior caseworker at the Oswego County Department of Social Services.
Oswego Health welcomes the husband wife urology team of Elizabeth W. Bozeman and Gary D. Bozeman to the active medical staff. The board-certified urologists will provide a wide range of services in their Fulton office and in Oswego Hospital’s surgery center. Both physicians have nearly 20-years of experience in their field of expertise.
The Woodbine Group recently unveiled its newest facility, the Tailwater Lodge in Altmar. The property was recently renovated from the former Altmar Elementary School. Situated on the banks of the scenic Salmon River, the lodge features 42 luxurious rooms with full amenities, private fishing access, and a pro shop and gift store.

The New York State Sheriffs’ Association held its election of executive committee members at its 80th Annual Winter Training Conference last week at the Desmond Hotel in Albany. Members elected Oswego County Sheriff Moe Todd to the executive committee.
