Lake Neatahwanta Fundraiser with Local Merchants

On July 8, many local businesses will be offering $1 donation cards, in the shape of Lake Neatahwanta, in order to raise local funds for the cleanup to begin. Second Ward Councilman Dan Knopp presented his idea to the Fulton Community Revitalization Project Board –a 501 (c) 3 organization. The Lake Neatahwanta Revitalization Project will be partially funded by a very generous grant from Senator Patty Ritchie and other private donors.

The White Ribbon Campaign: A Call to Men

According to the Centers for Disease Control, 1 in 4 women will experience abuse in their lifetime and nearly 1 in 5 women have been raped at some point in their life. In an effort to raise awareness and promote the efforts of men ending violence against women, Services to Aid Families, a program of Oswego County Opportunities, is launching its White Ribbon Campaign.
