Port City Roller Derby will kick off its third home season by battling the Roc City Roller Derby B-Sides on May 25, in Crisafulli Rink. Doors open at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. whistle for the opening bout, as the new Port City Roller Derby Lagoon Squad juniors, ages 10 to 17, take on Black Mamba Junior Derby.
At the luncheon, the volunteers were given a small gift in appreciation for their service and Oswego Health President and CEO Ann C. Gilpin read a proclamation approved by the health system’s board of directors. The healthcare provider also recognized several volunteers for their many years of service.
Hannibal Central School will be offering Pre-K classes for the 2013-14 school year. This program is available for children residing in the Hannibal Central School District. Registration packets have been mailed to the homes of each child who will be four years old on or before December 1, 2013.
The officers and directors of the Friends of History In Fulton have issued an invitation to their annual “Porch Party” fundraiser to be held at the John Wells Pratt House local history museum at 177 S. First St. The event will be held on June 7 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
