Thanks to the generosity of the Fulton YMCA, CYO participants, under the supervision of CYO staff and the watchful eye of the YMCA lifeguards, enjoyed the opportunity to keep cool by swimming and playing in the YMCA’s swimming pool.
It’s LUAU Time! Come join the fun! Prizes given for best dressed male and female. August 18 from 6 – 11 p.m. Ticket includes: meal, draft beer and dessert.
Phillip Hayden of Fulton graduated from Geneva College with a B.A. degree in Sociology. Phillip was awarded a diploma at the college’s May commencement ceremony.
The Oswego County Legislature recently designated July 26 as Americans with Disabilities Awareness Day to promote education about advocacy, resources and services available to county residents.
Believers Chapel Fulton will be holding Vacation Bible School, “Adventures on Promise Island,” August 12 – 16. A free dinner will be served each evening at 5:30 p.m. Participants will break into age groups, preschool through 6th grade and an adult class, beginning at 6 p.m.
Inclusion on Hartwick’s Dean List is an indication of excellent academic work, including the completion of a full course load with at least a 3.5 grade point average based on a 4.0 scale.
Legislator and candidate for Senate Amy Tresidder recently visited the village of Phoenix. Mayor Anthony Fratto gave an update on recent economic developments and gave a tour of the Phoenix Waterfront.
Paul Parsons, of Fair Haven and Virginia, was the owner of the winning duck in Hannibal Dollars for Scholars annual “Ducks Over the Dam” race.
The Wallace family recently held its annual family reunion, which included a basket raffle with proceeds that benefited the Friends of Oswego County Hospice and the American Cancer Society.
