Rotarians Hear About “Go Blue For Kids”

June 22, 2010 Contributor

At a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary meeting, Rotarian Mike Schroeder introduced Carrie Damm, the Director of the Child Advocacy Center (CAC) located in Fulton. CAC investigates and helps to prosecute sexual and physical abuse of children and also provides a safe place for that child. Unfortunately, since 2008, child abuse has increased by seventy-five percent. However, that does mean that it is being more readily reported. There is a new campaign underway called "Go Blue For Kids" to help end child abuse in this community. On September 11, there is a Bike Run for CAC. Call 592-4453, if you are interested.
