Phoenix students recently received a multifaceted lesson as artist and storyteller Christopher Agostino brought his StoryFaces performance to Emerson J. Dillon Middle School. With a full color palette in front of him, Agostino told several stories with Chinese and Japanese cultural roots.

Daisy has a sad story and we are counting on you to add a happy ending. She was a much loved cat and lived well until her owner fell ill and was hospitalized. A neighbor took care of Daisy when she could. But, due to a so so diet and sedentary life waiting for her owner to come back, she got a little chunky. Even worse, her owner recently died, so now she is homeless
It is said that it takes a village to raise a child and at Fitzhugh Park Elementary School, it takes a team of teachers to raise up students in academic and social achievement. That work was recently reflected in fourth grade teacher Nicholas Little, who received the Empire State Excellence in Teaching Award.
Fulton City School District students painted pictures of perfection for the annual district-wide art show at the Fulton Education Center. Accompanied by friends and family members, students in grades kindergarten through 12 strolled through the building’s first floor where self portraits, beadwork, wood burning, pottery, drawings and a variety of other artwork were displayed.
