Fulton Teen Remembered As Positive, Pleasant and Outgoing Person

G. Ray Bodley senior Dylan Blair would have graduated on June 28. He died in a car crash earlier this week. The district has a crisis support team in place at the high school to provide support for students, family members and staff. A vigil will be held today (June 19) at the high school athletic complex at 7 p.m.

Fulton’s Ice Cream Cruise-In Owner Hopes For Soft Opening

After a few tweaks to the ice cream machines this week Sweet Inspirations – Fulton’s drive-in ice cream and food joint, which hosts the original Saturday cruise night – will be open again for business. “They’re coming on Monday to get the ice cream machines up and running,” new owner Kevin Niver told Oswego County Today on Sunday (June 15.) “We hope to have a soft opening this weekend, serving ice cream for the first few weeks until we get everyone up and trained.”

Jury: Fulton Man Guilty Of Sexually Assaulting 5-Year-Old Girl In Sterling

Levi Warren Maynard of Fulton was found guilty of sex offenses committed against a five-year-old girl in October 2012. A jury in Cayuga County Court returned a verdict June 11 finding Maynard guilty of the three crimes charged in the indictment, to wit: Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child, Sexual Abuse in the First Degree, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
