Retired Fulton police officer Edward C. Hoffman died on Wednesday in his Florida home. He is being remembered as a street-wise police officer who shared his wisdom with fellow officers, and as a man who was always looking to help others.

Volunteers from a non-profit group called Operation Northern Comfort, who help design and build ramps for organizations like PSC, helped with the construction of a much-needed ramp at the center. The construction was made possible by a $500 donation made by the Hannibal American Legion for the building materials.
Fulton Police arrested a fugitive wanted out of the State of North Carolina over the weekend. On Saturday police stopped a vehicle for failure to signal a turn and for an inadequate muffler violation. The operator of the vehicle was found to be Michael Digregorio. A check of his license found that there were three warrants being held against him from North Carolina.
