He is alleged to have been growing marihuana plants in his residence. An investigation showed that he was also receiving HEAP services from December 2008 through September 2010 in the amount of $2,500 fraudulently by not disclosing information regarding his identity, according to deputies.

For more than five years the Fulton Police Department has been hosting its annual bike rodeo for local kids at the War Memorial. Overall, the event aims “To get the bike safety word out,” said Traffic Lt. Jason Delano who has been in charge of the event for the past three years.
Cars lined up at Bullhead Point in Fulton on Saturday morning to drop off everything from TVs to irons during Senator Patty Ritchie’s Electronics Recycling Event. “People started coming before it was open today,” Senator Ritchie told Oswego County Today. On Wednesday at 1:45 p.m., troopers responded to the area of 1121 County Route 57 in Schroeppel for a serious personal injury collision involving a Ford F350 pickup truck and a motorcycle. The investigation at the scene determined that a northbound motorcycle operated by Douglas M. West, of Baldwinsville, attempted to pass a northbound pickup truck operated by Rory G. Ingoldby, 12/24/68, of Phoenix.

A Fulton student is headed to the SkillsUSA national competition taking place June 24-28 in Kansas City. If he wins there – he’s bound for the world competition in London. “What’s unique about SkillsUSA, is that it’s the only student organization that has business and industry partners,” said Ron Camp, director of Career and Technical Education and Alternative Programs.
In January 2012, the death of Brian Dodge came as a shock to the Fulton City School District. Dodge retired in 2010 after 32 years teaching Health Education, as well as coaching boys’ cross-country. At Tuesday’s board of education meeting the board unanimously approved the implementation of the Brian Dodge Memorial Scholarship Award.
