Republican Congresswoman Ann Marie Buerkle and Green Party candidate Ursula Rozum disagreed on nearly everything during their hour-long debate Thursday night in Granby.

At 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office responded to a one-car fatal motor vehicle accident at the intersection of County Route 26 and Smokey
Hollow Road in the Town of Parish.
On October 8, at approximately 5:45 p.m., troopers from the Hastings barracks and fire personnel were dispatched to 296 White Road in the town of Parish for a report of a residential fire. Later that night, the suspect was arrested after a motor vehicle accident in Scriba.

Fulton city lawmakers Wednesday approved a deal that will sharply cut property taxes on the closed Birds-Eye plant but which avoids some pain for taxpayers.
The plant is valued at $7.6 million. Next year, the plant will be taxed at a value of $3.9 million and the year after that, $1.9 million.
Fulton Police have arrested Sabrina M. Borden, 21 of West First Street North, Fulton. She was reportedly going through a car stealing various items. When confronted by the owners of the vehicle, Borden allegedly sprayed the couple with pepper spray and then displayed a knife.
