The fire that tore through a Granby apartment might have killed an infant, if not for the fast actions of a neighbor.
Now, the child’s mother has been charged with leaving the baby alone in the house.
State Police say Kenneth M. Holland, Jr., 29, of 9354 River Rd., Phoenix was stopped by a Trooper, who discovered that in addition to a suspended driver’s license, Holland had 3 loaded 30-round magazines for a Smith & Wesson M&P rifle.

A father and son from Fulton were injured in the North Country in a head-on crash with a van.
