The plan to expand Cayuga Community College’s Fulton campus came down to three sites. In the end, college officials set aside their frustration and dealt with the people who derailed their plans a year ago.
College President Dr. Daniel Larson said that the former P&C supermarket in River Glen Plaza “came out as our top choice”.
Administrators in Hannibal added to the list of programs and positions that they say should not be cut, but might have to be.
The district is facing a budget deficit of more than $600,000. Board of Education members reviewed a long list of possible cutbacks a week ago. Wednesday night, they were shown a few more, along with some details on cuts they’ve discussed before.

Members of the Women’s Chorus showed up to sing for Fulton’s Board of Education this week. The song they sung: “Don’t Stop The Music”.
Then they asked the board to avoid making cuts that would stop their music.
There was no snow in Fulton on Monday. It was all rain – more than a half inch.The monthly total jumped to 3.38 inches and the annual total now stands at 4.54 inches.
