A judge in Fulton today refused to set bail for Jeremy Bailey.
Bailey, 22, of Oneida St., moved to Fulton from Florida a few months ago and a prosecutor suggested he could be a risk to flee if freed on bail.

The Gullivers will be hosting their 12th annual fly-in, that now includes Light Sports Aircraft, small general aviation planes, as well as the ultralight class of aircraft. Downtown Fulton Parking Dispute Returns: ‘Not Enough Parking’, Says One; ‘Laziness Issue’, Says Another
Fulton city lawmakers have a dispute to mediate among downtown Fulton businesses over parking. The owner of the Tavern on the Lock restaurant is asking for the second time for the city to end all day parking in the city parking lot adjacent to his restaurant. About half of the spaces in that lot, Lot 5, are all-day spaces and the other half are two hour spaces.

Wanted Fulton Man Arrested During Quality Of Life Patrol
During the evening hours of Thursday July 15, the Fulton Police Department utilized two officers to participate in its Quality of Life Patrol. The patrol resulted in the arrest of a Fulton man wanted on several warrants, some felonies. He is also under investigation for other crimes.

Signs of Hope in June’s Jobless Rate, Despite Increase
Unemployment rose in Oswego County in June, and the jobless rate remains among the state’s highest. Even so, there is some hopeful news in the numbers.
“We’ve started to see some over-the-year job growth,” said Karen Knapic-Scalzo of the state Labor Department’s Syracuse office.
