Phoenix Lock Drawbridge Stuck

The State Canal Corporation is advising boaters with tall boats that they may not get past the locks in Phoenix for a while.

The drawbridge in Phoenix became stuck in the raised position Sunday.Ã‚Â Workers are raising and lowering the bridge by hand while they fix the problem.

Uniforms, Etc. of Fulton outgrew its home on S. 1st St.Ã‚Â This Spring, the business moved about 300 feet away, to the corner of Cayuga St. and S. 2nd St.Ã‚Â Now, you know S. 2nd St. better as Route 481, the main route through the city.Ã‚Â The difference in visibility made a massive difference to Uniforms Etc.’s bottom line — an immediate jump in business.Ã‚Â “People were reminded that we existed because of the move,” the company’s marketing manager says.

More Charges Filed Against Driver In Alleged High Speed Chase

New charges have been filed against the Rochester woman who led police on a three-county high speed chase last Thursday.

Fulton Police say they’ve charged Javonnia Rouse, 30, of Rochester with reckless driving, failure to comply and other traffic-related counts.Ã‚Â She’s also been charged with stealing from Oswego’s Wal-Mart.

Fulton Police say they caught a burglar in the act of stealing liquor from a Fulton restaurant.

At about 2:32 a.m. on Saturday, July 4, police answered an alarm at the Tavern on the Lock restaurant on S. 1st St.

Fulton Police say two Rochester women led them on a high-speed, three-county, five-police-agency chase Wednesday night.

Fulton PD alleges, in a news release, that an officer was called to the Super Wal-Mart in Granby at 6:37 p.m. Wednesday night for a report of a theft from the store.

So, how’ve you been?Ã‚Â I’d like to say we’ve been fine, but we haven’t been.Ã‚Â For most of this week, we’ve been dead in the water, and now that we’re back, we’re not exactly in perfect condition.

Sometime overnight Sunday into Monday, the hard drive holding all of Oswego County Today went to Hard Drive Heaven.Ã‚Â The drive locked up tight and refused to let us in.Ã‚Â Our hosting partners immediately set about building a new server for us, which took a day or two to build, set up, test and deploy.
