On March 25, 1919, 20,000 men of the New York National Guard’s 27th Division owned the streets of Manhattan.Two million people turned out to see the division march five miles up Fifth Avenue after the soldiers came home from World War I.

Mayor Billy Barlow announces a $25,000 grant for Gibby’s Irish Pub to assist with an expansion project.The project consists of demolishing a neighboring property to expand the existing building and create a kitchen to expand their menu and offer food and dining near the Oswego waterfront.

The company would provide residents with critical messages regarding things like road closures, water main breaks and fires, Mayor Billy Barlow said.

The Fort Ontario Conference on History and Archaeology will be held in Oswego, March 30 and 31.This conference explores new perspectives on warfare and human conflict in North America from its first appearance in the archaeological record around 5000 BCE to the Global War on Terror.
