On Thursday, the H. Lee White Maritime Museum and Oswego Mayor Billy Barlow will host an historic plaque dedication ceremony at the Oswego Lighthouse to recognize the historic Oswego landmark. On Saturday, historic Fort Ontario hosted several representatives of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Oswego Lodge #271 as well as a large contingent of Girl Scout troops 10566 and 10567. Operation Oswego County held its 66th annual meeting at the Lake Ontario Event and Conference Center, in Oswego on Friday, June 15. Barbara Bateman, president of the OOC board of directors, welcomed more than 150 representatives of businesses, government, education, labor and other ally organizations to the meeting. Keynote presenter Tim Hardy, General Manager of Sunoco Agri-Business, shared a video highlighting the 1886 Malt House.
