Oswego’s Christmas Tree Lighting, Holiday Expo Planned

It’s not yet Halloween, but it’s starting to look a lot like Christmas. A troupe of volunteers is working to put the finishing touches on the 2016 Oswego Christmas Tree Lighting and Holiday Expo. The annual holiday celebration will kick off at 9 a.m. Nov. 26 and run until 10 p.m. Besides a visit from Santa, a myriad of holiday events will be held – including ice skating at a temporary rink in Civic Plaza.

Dr. Allison Rank, assistant professor of Political Science at SUNY Oswego will be one of the three speakers on the panel at next week’s Populating the Polls: Then and Now There will also be An exhibition of posters created by upstate New York designers urging residents to get out to the polls and vote. Just recently, Dr. Rank spearheaded Vote Oswego, which collected 2,637 forms to register SUNY Oswego students to vote.

IBEW, Building Trades Respond To Lawsuit Against CES
