Dan Donovan (R-Fifth Ward) will continue to serve as the council’s president. And, the council’s vice president will again be Shawn Walker (R-Fourth Ward).
Josephine Katelyn France was born in Oswego Hospital at 4:42 a.m. Jan. 1, 2010. She weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. She is the daughter of Rita Powers and Brandon France, of Oswego.
Oswego native Lisa Manro Dennis jotted down a little tale about her son and his horse never dreaming she would one day share the story with the world. “One Mare that Saved a Life” is now part of an anthology to aid and inspire mare owners and horse lovers everywhere.
One person is said to have died.
The fire was reported at about 4:00 a.m., officials said. It took more than an hour to bring it under control.
