Police Arrest Man Charged With Sexually Abusing Blindfolded Girl
Sheriff’s Deputies on Friday arrested Walter C. Belden, 28, of 3839 Port St., Pulaski. He is charged with first degree rape, first degree criminal sexual act, sex abuse and endangering the welfare of a child. All but the endangering charge are felonies.

Police Arrest Man In Horse-And-Buggy Hit-And-Run
Police say that at about 7:00 p.m. Saturday night, Katie D. Herchberger, 25, of 362 County Route 30, Williamstown was driving a horse and buggy along County Route 30 when the buggy’s left wheel was hit by a vehicle. The buggy ran off the road and hit a tree. The car drove off.

H1N1 Flu Shot Appointments By Phone Begin Today
If you want one of the first shots available of vaccine for the H1N1 flu virus, today’s the day to make a phone call. The county will open a hotline at 4:00 p.m. Monday afternoon and will make appointments for a shot until 7:00 p.m. or until all appointments are gone. Call 349-8700.
