Oswego city lawmakers hold a public forum tonight on next fiscal year’s city budget.
The Post-Standard reports they’ll get an earful about one piece of the budget plan: closing the city’s only public pool to save money.
The meeting is at 6:00 p.m. in the McCrobie Bldg. on Lake St.
Many youngsters have dreams of one day becoming a firefighter. For a group of teen-agers in Scriba, that dream is becoming a reality. They all have part-time or full-time jobs. To balance the budget for 2010 otherwise would include laying off about 20 city workers.
