Brandon Shoults, 31, of Oswego, left the sidewalk and ran into the road in front of a moving vehicle, according to city police. He is still considered to be in critical condition, police said today (June 22). Anyone with any information about the accident is asked to call police at (315) 342-8120.
Julian Ross couldn’t go to DisneyWorld — so a cadre of volunteers brought DisneyWorld to Oswego. He was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma in 2011, when he was just 6 years old. In early March of this year, he was put on Hospice care.
A man suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to a trauma center Saturday evening (June 20) after reportedly being struck by a vehicle. Oswego Fire Department personnel were dispatched to the vehicle vs. pedestrian accident at 9:37 p.m. on Saturday at the intersection of State Route 104 and George Street.
You would never know something troubling is around the corner when the film opens with shots of eggs hatching to the tune of menacing music. Great job, Jurassic World creators. From native American culture to Holocaust refugees, and the Oswego Lighthouse to genealogical research, several Oswego County heritage sites have signed up to participate in the I Love New York Path through History Weekend June 20 and 21. “Oswego County has a rich and colorful heritage and we are indebted to our local historians and historic sites for keeping that heritage alive,” said Janet Clerkin, Oswego County Tourism and Public Information Coordinator.
The economic development organization presented its annual activity summary and achievement awards. Three business organizations, a successful entrepreneur and a long-standing economic development advocate were honored for significant contributions to economic development and job creation in Oswego County.

Harborfest will start early on Friday July 26 for families with children who have disabilities. The Oswego Fire Department responded to a reported fire in a trash can at the Byrne Dairy located at 99 W. Bridge St. June 17. According to fire officials, an employee was alerted to the fire around 7:20 p.m. The employee saw smoke and fire coming from an area near the gas pumps and immediately activated the overhead extinguishment system.
