Heidi Allen Hearing Prolonged Pending DNA Results

Prosecutors in the Heidi Allen hearing hoped to wrap up their final witnesses by mid week. However, a DNA test on a knife found in Michael Bohrer’s apartment in 2014 could take up to 30 days to return with results; further prolonging the hearing that could define the future of Gary Thibodeau, the man prosecuted for her disappearance in 1994. Thibodeau has been behind bars for Allen’s abduction for 21 years.

In the end, councilors left the door open for further discussion; but, took no action. New Additions To The Lighthouse Committee Aim To Bring An Added Spark

While the Oswego Lighthouse restoration project is well under way, the H. Lee White Maritime Museum committee felt it needed some fresh ideas in order to make the “Love Our Lighthouse” as successful as can be. Those fresh new ideas came in the form of four Oswego university students with a vast arrange of skills. The two seniors of the group are Chris Urato and Jack Gonzalez along with Audrey Diaz and Haliegh O’Sullivan who are both juniors.

Traffic Stop Results In Felony Drug Arrests

At approximately 6:30 p.m. on Friday (April 3), investigators with the Oswego County Drug Task Force, pursuant to a narcotics investigation, conducted a traffic stop on State Route 48 near Vann Drive in the town of Granby. Upon further investigation, investigators located and seized 23.4 grams of crack cocaine, having an approximate street value of $2,400 as well as nine bags of heroin having an approximate street value of $180, according to the police report.

Julian’s Army Turns Out In Force At Fundraiser

Hundreds of people, young and old, dedicated part of their holiday weekend to supporting a youngster most have never actually met. Still, they all consider Julian Ross a part of their family. Julian was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma on August 4, 2011. He was just 6 years old. In early March, 9-year-old Julian was put on Hospice care.
