Open House Set For Proposed Pulaski Bridge Rehabilitation

NYS Department of Transportation will hold an open house on November 6 regarding a bridge rehabilitation project on Route 11 over the Salmon River in Pulaski. It will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Pulaski Fire Department, 12 Lake St. Preliminary drawings for the upcoming project will be available for review and representatives from NYSDOT will be present to answer questions. No formal presentation is planned.

Oswego County Responds to Ebola Concerns

Oswego County Public Health Director Jiancheng Huang told the Oswego County Legislature’s Health Committee today (Oct. 29) that several county agencies are working closely with the county health department to develop procedures and precautionary plans in response to the Ebola virus. “I want to stress that we have no information about anyone in Oswego County who has or may have the disease. That being said, we are working with relevant county departments and agencies to coordinate a preparedness response to the Ebola virus.”

Husband-Wife Accused of Stealing From 84-Year-Old Woman

Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman today (Oct. 28) announced felony charges against an Oswego County husband and wife accused of abusing power of attorney to steal from an 84-year-old woman in their care. David Tetro Jr. and Morgan Tetro, both of Minetto, allegedly stole more than $200,000 of the victim’s money for their personal use, including more than $100,000 in gambling debts, purchases at Victoria’s Secret and assorted transactions on iTunes, Ebay and Facebook.
