Police: Two Employees Stole from Granby Convenience Store

Crystal N. Hines-Carvey, 28, of 12 Germandale Drive, Fulton was charged with a felony count of grand larceny by Oswego County Sheriff’s deputies. Theressa A. Castillo, 43, of 6014 Manley Drive, Red Creek, was charged with a misdemeanor count of petit larceny.

Sheriffs’ Association’s Comments on NYS SAFE Act

Sheriff Reuel Todd, trustee of the Executive Committee of the NYS Sheriffs’ Association, said that after extensive meetings with the majority of the sheriffs of the state, we have released our position as to the NYS SAFE Act. This is a position which encompassed much debate for a number of days to form what we feel is a concerted belief to protect the lives of our children and our citizens as well as to protect the rights of legitimate and honest gun owners.

Adeline “Addy” Benjamin has a talent for crafting and designing. Each year she makes “Tie Blankets” as gifts for friends and family for Christmas. As a member of the St. Paul’s Leprechaun Travel Basketball League, Addy has seen great local support from the community for her B-ball league and wanted to “give something back.”
