The symposium runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 6 and from 9 a.m. to noon on April 7. There will be a meet-and-greet social with cash bar, a presentation of the painting of the U.S. Brig Oneida by Tim Ames, and early registration from 6 to 9 p.m. on April 5.
Hayley, Camille, Kelly, and Rachel kicked off Tuesday’s Board of Education meeting and Music In Our Schools Month in style. The four sixth graders from Granby Elementary stood in front of the room and played a violin rendition of Musette by Johann Sebastian Bach.

While Oswego County is doing well in some areas, leaders on both sides of the aisle in the county legislature say they must all work together to hold the line on taxes and spur the local economy. Currently, county taxes are all used paying for just some of the unfunded state mandates.
