Bill Mason celebrated his 100th birthday Wednesday with about 100 or so of his family, friends and assorted other well-wishers. “I have had such a ball! A hundreds years and it was a ball,” the birthday boy exclaimed.
On Tuesday, at approximately 2:30 p.m., troopers were called to a Pulaski residence for a reported domestic incident with a female. Besides charged relating to the domestic incident, two people were also charged with Unlawful Manufacturing of Methamphetamine.
The $150 million, 150,000 square foot facility would created in Oswego Harbor. The project is being described as a “business entity and an entertainment entity.” It would create nearly 100 full-time jobs with more likely in the following years, according to the developers.
The second annual Oswego County Winter Carnival returns to Sandy Pond on Saturday and Sunday, February 9 and 10. From dawn to dusk, bring the whole family to the Sandy Pond Steakhouse on Wigwam Drive, just off county Route 15 in Sandy Creek.

The average temperature last month was 4.9 degrees above average. That’s no big deal, according to Bill Gregway, local observer for the National Weather Service. January 2012 was 6.9 degrees above average, and that was only good for 13th warmest, he pointed out.
