Phone Outage Affects County Offices in Oswego
Several county government offices are affected by a phone outage at the Public Safety Center and Department of Motor Vehicles Office in Oswego this morning. People who are making incoming phone calls to those departments are receiving a busy signal.
E-mail functions are not affected.
Alternate Side Parking Restrictions In Effect in Oswego
The mayor is imposing the alternate side parking restrictions in the city of Oswego, effective at 1 a.m. Thursday and these restrictions will remain in effect (from 1 to 6 a.m.) until further notice. He instructed the Police Department to issue ‘Courtesy Notices’ for the first several nights that the parking restrictions are in effect.

The app contains interactive maps of 378 miles of snowmobile trails, public parking locations, 10 snowmobile clubs, 25 restaurants, 21 gas stations, 11 lodgings, and several more snowmobile-related and supporting businesses along the Oswego County trail system.

Santa Claus will have no trouble with his sleigh tonight. “History is on our side for a white Christmas,” according to Bill Gregway, local observer for the National Weather Service. “Each year we have about a 66.6 percent chance of a white Christmas. This year, I’d say the odds are a bit better.”
