The 2013 U.S. Army All-American Bowl Selection Tour recruited Joseph Bertonneau to the Army All-American Marching Band. He will take part in the halftime performance of the 2013 U.S. Army All-American Bowl. He is the 10th Oswego student selected since 2007. The game will be televised live on NBC, from the Alamodome on Jan. 5, 2013.
The Oswego Opera Theater is pleased to announce the first production of its new 2012-2013 schedule, presenting a “Welcome Back” concert on November 11 at 2:30 p.m. in Waterman Theater in Tyler Hall on the SUNY-Oswego Campus. The production celebrates young Opera and Musical Theatre artists who call Oswego “home.”
Given the startling facts regarding domestic violence, officials say there is a pretty good chance that we all probably know someone who is or has been in an abusive relationship. In recognition of Domestic Violence Month, OCO’s Services to Aid Families program planned a number of events to raise awareness of domestic violence and educate the community on the services that are available through the SAF program.

Representatives from the 2013 U.S. Army All-American Bowl Selection Tour will visit Oswego High School on Wednesday to officially select clarinet player Joseph Bertonneau to the U.S. Army All-American Marching Band. Oswego High School will honor Bertonneau before his fellow band members, classmates, fans and family during a post rehearsal assembly.
Band Director Scott Ciesla said, “The Marching Bucs performed very well. We had two excellent practices on the trip and it really paid off. We finished with a score of 80.79 which was good for fourth place out of eight. We just missed third place by just two tenths of a point.”
