The victim was initially treated at Oswego Hospital and later transferred to University Hospital in Syracuse with non–life threatening injuries, police said.

At 5:58 p.m. on Wednesday, Albert M. Moody, 69, of 245 County Route 29 Apt. A, Oswego, was arrested for first-degree criminal sex act, a class B felony; first-degree rape, a class B felony; first-degree sexual abuse, a class D felony and endangering the welfare of a child.

The arrest follows the investigation into a traffic stop on SR 104 initiated by the LPR unit alerting and showing a stolen vehicle from an impound yard in the city of Oswego.

Housing Visions held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday to mark the completion of the Oswego Hamilton Homes redevelopment. Through the coordinated efforts of Housing Visions and various state and local agencies, more than $40 million was reinvested into the redevelopment to improve the apartments for another 50 years.

The school board reviewed a draft document Tuesday night. It outlined what the responsibilities are for everyone in the district regarding incidents or threats of sexual violence or other serious incidents. It also dealt with the rights and responsibilities of the victim and alleged aggressors.
