The child lives in the city of Oswego and is recovering at home. The Oswego County Health Department was notified by the New York State Department of Health Friday afternoon that the child tested positive for West Nile virus.

Oswego – The Oswego County E-911 Communications Center reports that the telephone outage in the communities of Altmar, Lacona, Sandy Creek and Parish has been fixed and people are able to call 911 from their telephones.

The Oswego County E-911 Emergency Communications Center reported a telephone outage in parts of the northern and eastern areas Oswego County Thursday night.
