Document Details the Undercover Police Effort to Shut Down Fulton’s 420 Emporium Head Shop
A search warrant application (see the link at bottom to read the entire application) filed by federal authorities as part of the nationwide crackdown on synthetic drug sales called Operation Log Jam details a visit to the Broadway shop by an undercover investigator. The investigator talked with a store clerk and bought some synthetic drugs, according to the application.

Body of Missing Kayaker recovered from Lake Ontario
UPDATE: The victim has been identified as Timothy D. Confer, from Binghamton The victim was transported to Oswego Hospital by N.O.C.A. Ambulance and was pronounced deceased upon arrival. Identification of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family and the investigation is continuing.

West Nile Virus Found in New Haven
Jiancheng Huang, Public Health Director of the Oswego County Health Department, announced today that the New York State Department of Health found evidence of West Nile virus in mosquitoes in the Town of New Haven. There are no known human cases of West Nile virus in Oswego County.
Deputies: Man Threatened Victim With Hammer
The suspect allegedly approached the victim in a threatening manner with a hammer in his hand following an incident in which the victim allegedly almost hit the suspect as he was walking down the middle of the roadway.
