Members of the Oswego County Sheriffs Office and the West Monroe Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle crash that occurred Sunday on State Route 49 at the intersection of Whig Hill Road in the Town of West Monroe.Two people died in the crash.

As a result of the January search, police discovered and seized a Remington 870 shotgun, which had been altered to an illegal state.
