The Oswego State men’s ice hockey team was one of three teams to receive an at-large bid into the 2012 NCAA Division III Men’s Ice Hockey Tournament on Sunday night. The Lakers (22-3-2) will host a quarterfinal game against the Elmira Soaring Eagles (15-8-3) on Saturday, March 10 at 7 p.m.
Performances for Damn Yankees are scheduled for March 8, 9 and 10 in the Bodley H.S. Auditorium. Curtain time is set for 7:30 each evening. Additionally there will be a 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday. “Damn Yankees is a great story with wonderful music,” explained Tom Briggs, theatre director at Bodley. “It is a story of love, self-discovery and baseball. Set in the nostalgic 1950s, Damn Yankees is thought provoking and moving.”
The first order of subscriber units, portables, mobile and control stations will be submitted in May and training will coincide with the roll-out of the new equipment. This time their comeback was not enough. The 14th-ranked Oswego State men’s basketball team trailed by 10 in the second half and by five in the first overtime, but a three-pointer by 21st-ranked Eastern Connecticut State University with 2.5 seconds left in double overtime handed the Lakers a 70-69 on Saturday night.

It took yet another huge comeback, but the 14th-ranked Oswego State men’s basketball team is moving on to the second round of the NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball Tournament for the second straight year following a 72-71 overtime win over Endicott College (Mass.) at Max Ziel Gymnasium on Friday night.
The arrest comes as a direct result of an ongoing Anti-Crime Team investigation, which ultimately led to the issuance of two search warrants.
