Royal Tea Party A Delight for Little Princesses
The Phoenix Chorus and Drama Booster Club wanted to do something a little different to promote the spring musical “Cinderella.” So, they held a Royal Ball and Tea Party for all the little princesses, knights in the kingdom. The musical opens Thursday afternoon.
New York Sea Grant Projects Impact Great Lakes, Marine District Resources
New York Sea Grant issued a series of impact statements for projects completed in 2011. The projects impacted diverse interest sectors including commercial fishermen, US Coast Guard search and rescue programs, the seafood industry, New York’s teachers and students, public and private coastal property managers, municipal leaders, and fisheries managers.
Major Changes in Days off in Oswego Schools
The Oswego City School District officials have indicated that there are some major changes in the academic calendar. This Friday will be a half day of school for all Oswego City School District students. Other dates have changed, also.

Oswego School Board Wrestles With Budget Plan
The Oswego school board has challenged the superintendent to present a 2012-13 budget with zero percent tax levy increase, or better. On April 17 the board is slated to vote on the tentative spending plan. The public vote is set for May 15.
