At approximately 1:45 p.m. today (Feb. 23), State Police in North Syracuse responded to 8904 Beach Road in the Town of Cicero for a reported person who fell through the ice with his dog. Three Oswego County men helped with the rescue.

On Monday at approximately 11:13 p.m., Oswego City Police responded to a robbery complaint in the area of Ontario and Lake streets. On Saturday, Nine Mile Point Unit 1 licensed Operators identified increased water leakage inside the drywell. Operators in accordance with their procedures and training, appropriately reduced power at the unit in order to perform inspections to identify the source of the leak. Unit 1 was removed from the grid just after midnight on Sunday.
