CCC’s Fulton Campus Will Cost Less to Build

Will It Be Cold And Snowy For Warm Up?

There were mountains of snow for the 2011 Warm Up, Oswego Festival. This year, however, only a couple inches have fallen this winter - and the have all melted.Ironically, the area is in the middle of a snow drought as the annual celebration that honors winter looms on the horizon. It’s getting colder. Snow is in the forecast. But, will there be enough to sustain some events for the annual Warm Up, Oswego Festival? We’ll just have to wait and see.

School District Reinstates Intramurals Program

Several elementary students make an impassioned plea to the school board to reinstate the program. Board members agree to put the program back on a two-day a week schedule for the next semester with an eye toward a longer-term option.

Meeting The Great Bear“Kam” Pritchard enjoys the outdoors and hikes pretty regularly with with his grandmother. They enjoyed the springlike weather this past weekend hiking at Great Bear. It was his first hike there. He thought it was, “awesome.” He spotted the carved bear as soon they got there and wanted to meet him.

Fulton Police Officer Injured During Foot Pursuit, Arrest

During the pursuit and arrest, the officer suffered a half-inch laceration to his lower lip. He was treated at Oswego Hospital and released.
