Oswego School Board Hears Update On Employee Morale Survey
Recently, a group of graduate students at SUNY Oswego conducted a survey regarding morale in the as part of their class work. There isn’t a morale problem in the Oswego City School District. However, Superintendent Bill Crist admits, “I think morale could be better.” District officials will now consider the recommendations made in the survey as they continue to discuss the issue.

From duffers to the more experienced, Oswego’s newest ‘golf course’ proved to be as delightful as it was challenging on Monday. The Oswego Public Library was closed for regular activities. However, it hosted a mini golf event on Martin Luther King’s Day to sponsor the Children’s Room.

Lake Effect Bands Continue To Play Over Oswego County
Oswego’s Winter Parking Ban In Effect Starting Saturday
Mayor Tom Gillen has announced that the winter parking ban will go into effect at 1 a.m. Saturday (Jan. 14). During such time as the winter parking ban is imposed, the parking of any vehicle on all highways and streets shall be prohibited between the hours of 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. The Oswego Police Department will issue courtesy tickets for the first two nights only that the parking ban is in effect.
