The friendly competition helps support Oswego County’s only Catholic school. Eight three-member teams took part in the annual fund-raiser, which featured some of the hardest words in its history. Undaunted, Fulton Savings Bank claimed title number six.
HSBC didn’t want its branches in Fulton and Oswego. Neither did First Niagara Bank, which bought HSBC’s upstate branches, but not the ones in Fulton, Oswego and the North Country.
Finally, the branches have a home.

Fulton Police have arrested four people for their connection to two separate entries at the former Holy Family Catholic School. The investigation originated Dec. 22 when police were called to St. Dominick’s Center for a reported break-in and vandalism to the property.

The Oswego City Police Department has arrested two individuals in connection with the theft of a woman’s purse from inside the Price Chopper grocery store, located at 137 State Route 104 in the city of Oswego. The suspects were identified using video surveillance footage from the store.
Deputies say the charges stem from the investigation into an incident that occurred at a residence in the town of Scriba in October 2011. The suspect is alleged to have had finger to vagina contact with the victim being less than 17 years of age.
