Oswego County Veterans Named To Senate ‘Hall Of Fame’
Battle of the Bulge group among largest contingent of single campaign veterans to be granted this recognition. It is also the first multi-member group to receive honor. John Canale, the group’s founder, will represent the group at a ceremony to be held in Albany on June 14, Flag Day.

Memorial Day Salute Runs Friday, Saturday
Fulton’s largest annual celebration kicks off Friday night at the Community Center, as Memorial Day Salute begins its two-day run. Friday night features Dr. Boogie on stage and fireworks in the sky. Saturday’s got the parade in the morning and hit band Orleans at night. And there’s food, plenty of food.

Tobacco use is the leading preventable cause of death and kills more than five million people every year, about 1.5 million of whom are women.

Oswego Farmers’ Market Kicks Off New Year
It would have been hard to ask for better weather on the opening day of the Oswego Farmers’ Market. An hour before the event started, West First Street was much quieter than a regular day; but by the new 4:30 p.m. starting time it was clear that people were excited to see what vendors were offering.
