Weather Notebook For February 25, 2011
According to Fulton’s weather observer, no snow was recorded on Feb. 24. Between 5:30 and 7 a.m. today (Feb. 25) a little more than an inch of snow has fallen in Fulton – with several more inches on the way. On Feb. 25, 2010, more than an foot of snow fell in Fulton; it looks like history will repeat itself.
Alleged Sex Offender To Plea In Federal Before County Court
Cory Ketcham of Rathburn Road is facing federal charges that could land him in prison for 90 years. In county court Thursday, his attorney sought to have any additional jail time to run concurrently with his federal time.
Garage Fire Reported In Scriba
An attached garage at 58 Skyline Drive, was heavily damaged Wednesday night by fire. There were two people in the attached house; both made it out safely.

County Committee Recommends Reissuing RFP For Data Management In Clerk’s Office
The county legislature’s Community and Consumer Affairs committee decided to seek new proposals from computer and software companies. The action comes on the heels of an ethics violation involving the county’s current vendor.

Fulton Board Members Endorse BOCES Renovation Plan
Members of the Fulton Board of Education Tuesday praised Oswego County BOCES’ $35 million plan to renovate its campus for the first time since it opened in the late 1960s.
It’s a sharp turnaround from 2008, when boards of education criticized BOCES’ $48 million plan and it went down to overwhelming defeat among voters.
