Oswego Health recently closed on its purchase of the land and buildings that used to make up A. L. Lee Memorial Hospital in Fulton, but the legal dispute with the city of Fulton over compensation for the land beneath the buildings has not been resolved.

Fulton has a budget for 2011. It does not raise taxes, but cuts jobs. It spends more for worker retirements, takes in less in state aid and cuts every department’s budget a little bit more. Mayor Ron Woodward used the words “pain and sacrifice” to describe the budget.
