Fulton School Officials Believe Advisory Program is Keeping Kids in School
Fulton’s four year old advisory program is helping connect students to school and convincing some of them to stay, district officials and teachers say.
The advisory program is part of the district’s effort to increase scores on state exams and reduce its dropout rate. “We saw that students (who dropped out) lacked connections to the school,” said Superintendent Bill Lynch.

Group Looks To Put The Arts Center Stage

Oswego School Board Continues Budget Discussions
The board of education laid the schedule for future workshops on the 2011-12 budget. They plan to meet with administrators to make sure everyone is on the same page as the process moves forward. Also Tuesday night, the board heard an update on the issue of closing a school and/or reconfiguration.
