November Turned Out Slightly Warmer, A Lot Drier Than Normal

November 2010 goes into the record books a bit warmer and quite a bit drier than average. The average temperature was 41.4 degrees. That is just 0.8-degree higher than average. Precipitation for the month wound up at 2.62 inches. That is 1.85 inches below normal.

Oswego Lights Up For The Holidays

Hundreds brave the chilly temperatures and brisk winds for the annual ceremony. The city’s holiday tree was lit Thursday night in Civic Plaza. The winners of the scholastic holiday poem contest were announced. And, Santa greeted scores of youngsters eager to tell him their Christmas wish lists.
