The Success By 6 Born Learning Trail started to develop earlier this spring. On Tuesday, it began taking shape. The trail being constructed in Fulton’s Hulett Park, is one of only three in New York State. When completed, the trail will consist of 10 learning stations utilizing the surrounding environment to promote learning for youth five and under. The grand opening will take place later this month.

At its meeting Tuesday, the Oswego County Legislature’s Nuclear Plant Tax Status Committee approved two resolutions dealing with Nine Mile Point Unit I. It would provide for a one-year PILOT deal with the nuclear power plant. Scriba has voted to accept the deal; the Oswego school board voted against it.
A home in the town of Oswego suffered heavy damage in a huge fire early Tuesday.
The Oswego Town Fire Department reports that fire was reported at 207 Furniss Station Rd. at a few minutes after 4:00 a.m. Minetto volunteer firefighters also helped to fight the blaze.
