Fulton Schools Rebuilding Project Generally On Schedule, But Track Team Will Need New Home This Spring

The massive reconstruction project in several Fulton City School District buildings is moving along fairly smoothly, according to the district official in charge of the project.

Fulton Okays Land Deal With County For New Emergency Radio Tower

Fulton’s Common Council okayed a plan to sell land for a new communications tower to the county for one dollar.

The new tower would be placed on what Fulton locals call Watertower Hill, a high spot in the city along Route 3 that abuts Fairgrieve Elementary School.  The city’s water tower is there, as is a communications tower owned by the city.

Oswego Pauses To Remember Its Veterans

Fulton Schools Could Host Flu Clinic For Students

Superintendent Bill Lynch told the Board of Education Tuesday night that the county has asked schools if they would be willing to hold clinics to provide nasal mist vaccine to students. The district is willing to do so.

Ceremonies honoring the sacrifices of our veterans take place today.

In Fulton, the ceremony begins at 10:30 a.m. at the park across the street from City Hall.  There’ll be a luncheon afterwards at the VFW on Cayuga St.

In Oswego, ceremonies begin at 9:30 a.m. in the community room at City Hall. A procession begins at 10:45 a.m. to Veterans Park in West Linear Park. The ceremony at the park begins at 11:00 a.m. VFW Post 569 hosts a luncheon afterwards.
