Oswego Marching Bucs Begin Season In Style
The Oswego Marching Bucs posted a solid 74.25 at this past weekend’s Jordan-Elbridge show. It’s the season-opened for the Marching Bucs. They were the only unit competing in the National class at J-E. They’re performing a show called “The Search”.

The Oswego High School Marching Bucs will commence the New York State Field Band Conference season on Saturday, September 12 at Jordan-Elbridge. The Bucs will perform at 8:30 p.m. The program commences at 7:30 and bands in competition include East Ramapo, Horseheads, Baldwinsville and host Jordan-Elbridge.

Police Ask For Your Help To Find Missing Granby Woman
UPDATE: Police tell the Post-Standard that Foss was found on Saturday dead in a swamp half a mile from her home. We have received no official word of this from the Sheriff’s Department.
Katherine L. Foss, 54, of County Route 3, Fulton, New York, was reported missing by family members, having left her home between 6:35 and 6:45 a.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2009.
Ms. Foss is described as being 5’ 10†tall, weighing approximately 200 pounds, with brown eyes and gray hair. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a blue jacket.
