After two years of construction, Northeast Biofuels sold its first shipment of ethanol Friday. Fastrac Markets purchased the ethanol for blending as ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…â€œE-10,ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã‚Â which will be sold at Fastrac locations throughout Central New York. The next step for NEB is to focus on sustainability, according to plant manager Brian Roach.
