For decades the Oswego County Fairgrounds in Sandy Creek have hosted demolition derbies, harness racing and even antique engine competitions. On March 2 and 3, the popular oval track will be the setting for hundreds of snowmobiles, courtesy of East Coast Snocross racing.

The funding is part of a $23.6 million investment in 31 airports statewide. The Oswego County Airport .will put the funds toward construction of a new aircraft hangar.

The Blight Reduction Loan Program would allow Oswego to repair property cited for exterior code violations and bring it back into compliance with city rules and law. State grant funds would be used to start the program.

The suspect is accused of subjecting a girl less than 14 years old to sexual intercourse and sexual abuse from 2012 through December 2014 in the city of Fulton.

According to Legislator Dan Farfaglia (D – Fulton), the county charges municipalities rental fees when they borrow county-owned highway equipment. At the recent legislature meeting, he sought to put forth a resolution that would abolish rental fees to use county highway equipment.
