Pair Facing Several Drug Charges

On Thursday investigators with the Oswego County Drug Task Force, with the assistance of the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Services Unit, executed a narcotics related search warrant at 196 Gardenier Road in the town of Oswego. As a result, approximately 14.5 grams of crack cocaine and 9 Suboxone strips were seized, police said.

Amboy Crash Victim Identified; Accident Still Under Investigation

The Sheriff’s Office has released the name of the driver killed in a one-car motor vehicle crash that occurred on August 19 in Amboy. The driver of the vehicle, 21-year-old Louis Watkins of Camden was killed when his 2002 Volkswagen left the roadway, rolled over and struck several trees.

Teen Dies In Volney Crash

At 6:29 a.m. today members off the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to County Route 6, south of Clifford Road in the town of olney for a two-car motor vehicle accident. Preliminary investigation revealed that the southbound Hyundai Elantra, operated by 19-year-old Jericho Bond, of Mexico, collided with a northbound Volkswagen Jetta, operated by Bruce Mott, 36, of Locke, NY. Bond was pronounced dead at the scene, deputies said.
